CLASS OF 1980

Welcome Home
Message from the Class President
Since 1896, our beloved university, with its rich legacy and commitment to empowering future leaders, has always been a beacon of tenacity and inspiration. The friendships we forged during our years on campus have persisted, and this 45th alumni reunion is a testament to the enduring bond we share.
We are in the process of planning a series of events that will allow us to reconnect, reminisce, and recommit ourselves to our cherished alma mater. This reunion is an opportunity to rekindle old friendships and create new memories. As we reminisce about our days on campus and the unique journey we have all undertaken since, let us embrace the spirit of unity and pride that defines our alumni community.
I am delighted to invite you to participate in this journey by working on a committee, becoming a member of the Class of 1980 Sustainer Program and donate at your desired level, and ultimately your presence adds the special touch to this reunion. We look forward to making this an unforgettable weekend filled with joy, camaraderie, Bulldog Pride and Bulldog Tenacity.
Here’s to the Class of 1980 — as we pledge to RECONNECT, REMINISCE, AND RECOMMIT to our South Carolina State University.
