OUR GOAL
The Stories of Strength Video Series celebrates and documents the unique stories, career paths, and reflections of SCSU Class of 1980 graduates. These stories will inspire students, alumni, and the SCSU community by highlighting the lifelong value of an SCSU education. One Class of 1980 alum will be featured each month.
OUR AUDIENCE
The primary audience is prospective students, current SCSU students, alumni, faculty, and the broader SCSU community.

SELECTION & APPROVAL PROCESS

Nominations may be submitted by Class of 1980 members or self-nominations

Nominations must be submitted no later than the 1st day of each month

The Class of 1980 Public Relations Committee will review the submissions monthly and select the featured classmate

Featured alumni will be notified of their selection
-
Featured alumni are responsible for recording their video

Individuals who were nominated but not initially selected are still eligible for consideration during subsequent months. The nomination does not need to be resubmitted.
